Trade only ANSI Z87.1 frames for optical retailers and safety distributors

Prescription safety glasses

Every HiDX frame is designed for prescription glazing. What retailers and laboratories need to know before glazing a safety frame.

Designed around the lab

Every HiDX frame is designed for prescription glazing. Full-rim fronts, generous lens depths and stable bridges give the laboratory the geometry it needs to glaze reliably, across industrial, sport and wrap, and executive styles.

What prescription ready means

  • Frames ship unglazed unless agreed otherwise. Lenses and glazing are not included.
  • Where a frame is glazed to prescription, the finished protector must be certified as an assembly. Work with a qualified laboratory and confirm marking requirements before glazing.
  • Certification marking, impact classification and any regional approvals should be confirmed against current documentation for each model before tender.

Choosing a frame for the wearer

  • Narrower faces: A002 pairs a 55 mm lens with a 19 mm bridge.
  • Deeper head shapes: A007 has a 141 mm temple, the longest in the A-series. H207 reaches 150 mm.
  • One model, two fits: A006 comes in M and S; H107 and H207 in S and L.
  • Wearers who resist safety eyewear: the Executive Series looks like a dress optical frame, with side shields that fit only when needed.

Compare every model in the fit and measurement guide.

Ordering for prescription

Order by model and colourway reference, for example A001 C.2. For two-size models, specify M or S (A006), or S or L (H107, H207).
