What we collect
- Trade applications: name, email, phone, business name and type, address, tax or resale ID (optional), website (optional) and the details you give about your business.
- Orders and accounts: billing and shipping details, order history, quotes and invoices.
- Contact form: name, email, business, phone (optional) and your message.
- Website usage: essential cookies needed to sign in, keep a cart and protect the site, and Google Analytics cookies that show us how the site is used (pages visited, device and approximate location). Google Analytics is only switched on after you accept cookies.
How we use it
To review and manage trade accounts, process orders, quotes and invoices, reply to enquiries, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the website and our business: website hosting (Hostinger), email delivery, Google Analytics, our card payment provider, and carriers for delivery. Each only receives what it needs to provide its service.
Where your information is stored
Some of these service providers may store or process personal information outside Quebec, including outside Canada. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information receives appropriate protection.
How long we keep it
Account and order records are kept while the account is active and for six years afterwards, as Canadian tax law requires. Applications we decline are deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing sales@hidxsafety.com. We handle requests under Quebec’s private-sector privacy law, Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and the privacy laws of the US states where they apply.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
