Terms and conditions
Effective October 14, 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply to all orders placed with HIDX SAFETY (“HiDX”, “we”), 2195 Av. Ekers, suite 101, Mont-Royal, QC H3S 1C6, Canada, through this website or our trade team.
Trade accounts
HiDX sells to businesses only: optical retailers and industrial safety distributors. Pricing and online ordering are available to approved trade accounts. We may decline, suspend or close an account at our discretion, for example if account details are inaccurate.
Prices and taxes
Prices are shown to approved accounts in the account’s currency (USD or CAD), exclude applicable taxes and freight unless stated, and may change without notice. Applicable taxes (including GST/HST and QST on Canadian orders) are added at checkout or on the invoice. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
Orders
An order is accepted when we confirm it. We may cancel orders affected by pricing errors or availability, with a full refund of any payment received.
Payment
Orders are paid by credit card, cheque or bank transfer. Some approved accounts may pay by invoice; invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date. We may pause ordering on overdue accounts.
Product use and compliance
HiDX frames are built to ANSI Z87.1. Where a frame is glazed to prescription, the finished protector must be certified as an assembly by the glazing laboratory. Buyers are responsible for selecting eye protection suitable for each hazard and for following applicable workplace regulations.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for bodily injury or for intentional or gross fault.
Events beyond our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as carrier or supplier disruptions, natural events, strikes or government action.
Intellectual property
The HiDX name, logos, product images and website content belong to HiDX or its licensors and may not be used without our written permission.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of the judicial district of Montreal have jurisdiction over any dispute.
